HPT Series
The VELAN® HPTD Series steam trap is used for intermediate capacity applications such as drip legs, and economically combines steam trap and strainer (with optional blow-off valve) in a small profile with a convenient 6-bolt cover for easy maintenance.

Discharges hot condensate every 30-45 seconds
Self draining - WILL NOT FREEZE when installed in gravity draining position.
Maximum body design condition: ANSI/ASME class 900
WILL NOT PLUG due to copper and iron oxides in the system. Condensate flashes on the discharge side of the orifice.
Can be installed in any position.
Unaffected by water hammer or superheat.
Internal stainless steel strainer, with optional blow-off valve.
